Care, safety & everyday use
Cleaning: vacuum, or spot clean with a damp cloth. The mats are not machine washable.
Age: suitable from 2 years and up. The soft surface also works well for younger children learning to walk, with supervision.
Floors: the non-slip backing is designed to stay put on timber, tile and laminate without marking them.
Where to use it: designed for indoor use. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the print.
Storage: rolls or folds away when you need the floor back. Allow a little time for it to flatten out again after unrolling.
Cars: works with standard die-cast toy cars. Cars are not included.
Anatomy of the track
It's not a road map. It's a race track.

- 01 Turn one, banked The corner where a sprintcar actually gets sideways. Kids find it without being told — it's where every race on the mat starts going fast.
- 02 The infield Pit bays, somewhere to line the cars up between races. The bit that turns a mat into a whole evening.
- 03 Wall and fence line Printed hard against the edge, so the track has a boundary and the racing has consequences.
- 04 The back straight Long enough to build speed before turn three. Layout geometry taken from real dirt ovals, not drawn to look pretty.
Every other kids' mat on the Australian market is a town with roads and a roundabout. Ours is an oval, because that's the sport.
Why this one
Three things that decide whether a mat survives.
Thick soft foam, not a thin rug
Cushioned enough that a kid can sit, kneel and lie on it for a whole evening — and comfortable enough that you can drop down and join in without regretting it ten minutes later.
Non-slip base
Stays where you put it on timber, tile and laminate, without marking them. No curled corners, no sliding across the room mid-race.
Restrained enough to leave out
Deliberately not bright and cartoonish. It reads as part of the room, which is the only reason a mat survives past the first week.
